You do not need any qualifications to do this job. Helping to keep a prison running smoothly and safely requires good judgement, common sense, responsibility and, above all, teamwork.
Skills
You should:
- have basic maths, spelling and grammar skills
- speak fluent English, or Welsh (in Wales, where specified)
- be able to read the time in 24-hour format
- have clear and legible handwriting
- have basic IT skills, and experience using MS Word and email
