Operational support grade (OSG)

Assess risk and treat behaviour to support the rehabilitation of offenders.

Jobs in the Probation Service

Approved premises – residential workers

Assist in the wellbeing and supervision of residents in our approved premises, providing 24-hour cover.

Case administrator

Use your great organisational and communication skills to support probation colleagues.

Community Payback

Support people on probation to make improvements to local communities.

Probation officer

Advise courts on sentencing and supervise and support people given community and prison sentences to reduce reoffending.

Probation services officer

Settle lower risk offenders into the community as your first step to being a probation officer.
