When you start your job as a residential worker in our approved premises, you’ll receive full training in the management and rehabilitation of offenders.
Your training will include:
- an induction programme, including procedural training such as room searches, drug and alcohol testing, safeguarding, fire safety and working with offenders
- a minimum of 3 weeks of shadowing shifts
- first-aid training
We’ll also develop a training programme designed for your specific needs.
